Solway View is centrally located in the Dumfries & Galloway area & is a great base from which to explore. Towns of Gatehouse-of-Fleet, Kirkcudbright & Castle Douglas are all nearby and well worth a visit. Also, at Balmangan Farm we have a 330 acre working beef & sheep farm.  The coastal farmland is easily accessed through the farm & nature trails. Any time of year, you can enjoy walking the adjoining woodland with its ever changing colour scheme, you may even meet some roe deer. You could also enjoy the tranquility of the little secluded bay just a short walk from the site. 

Dumfries & Galloway is surrounded by stunning scenery, 200 miles of breathtaking coastline, glorious rolling hill ranges,
a 300 square mile expanse of forest park and lush countryside. With picturesque villages and towns dotted along the way.
