Terms and Conditions

Pitches are available from 12 noon on day of arrival and must be vacated by 11am on day of departure.

Wigwams are available from 3pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 11am on day of departure. Smoking is not permitted in the wigwams.

Campfires are permitted in designated areas only. Please note fires should not be left unattended and should be kept under control.

Pets are very welcome and are FREE of charge. Maximum of 2 pets allowed per wigwam/pitch. Please do not allow your pet to roam on surrounding farmland and try to keep them on a lead at all times. Please be responsible for cleaning up after your pet. Please remember to bring pet bedding to Wigwam.

Deposit – A deposit of 50% of Total Cost is payable at time of booking. Please note deposits are non-refundable. Alternative dates will be offered when cancellation is made 14 days prior to date of arrival. A Full refund will be given in the event N R Picken/ Solway View has to cancel.

Balance/Final payment – The remainder of the accommodation/pitch fee is payable on arrival.

Payment - Please make the cheque payable to N R Picken. Alternatively, we can accept Credit/Debit card payment - full payment only, is accepted by this method. Please call - 01557 870206 to make Credit/Debit Card Payments.

Confirmation – Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a completed booking form with the required deposit. Confirmation will be made on date by telephone or email.

Environment – We have provided recycling points on site for Paper, Plastic bottles, Glass and tins/cans. We have used reclaimed wood for all benches and the cooking hut. We are replacing all suitable light bulbs to energy efficient bulbs. Solar lights will be used when ever possible.
