Solway View Wigwams

Solway View has 3 large Wooden Wigwams for hire & in April 2012 we are adding 2 new Large En-Suite Wigwams. The wigwams will sleep up to 5 people. Wigwams are a little like wooden tents with home comforts included!
They have heating, lights & some cooking facilities.

Solway View Wigwams offer a fantastic way to enjoy the great outdoors with comfort camping all year round.

Our Wigwams are named after a few of the Hills in Dumfries & Galloway - Merrick, Cairnsmore & Bengairn...you can even see Bengairn from the door! The new Wigwams, also named after local hills - Screel & Criffel.

Wigwams are lockable, with raised bed platforms & have very comfortable mattresses provided.
All you need to remember to bring is your sleeping bags, pillows & cooking supplies.

Kirkcudbright is the nearest town and has a great selection of shops & supermarkets for all your camping cooking.
Or if you want to eat out - there is plenty of good food establishments & takeaways. Good taxi service from Kirkcudbright too.

INSIDE WIGWAM : Microwave/Grill, Kettle, Toaster & Fridge.
INSIDE EN-SUITE WIGWAM: As above, plus: WC & Basin, Kitchen sink and Hobs.

OUTSIDE WIGWAM: Parking area, Picnic Bench & Camp Fire Pit/grill.

Well behaved pets are very welcome. Please bring pets own basket/bed, max 2 pets per Wigwam. Pets on lead.
